I’m attempting to get back into sharing some of my favorite outfits from the previous week. I’ve posted outfits in the past on a more sporadic basis, but I’m hoping to be more consistent with what I share. Last week here in upstate New York we were stuck in the middle of another polar vortex. I can’t really complain though- I’d rather have single digit temperature than 2 feet of snow. With the weather being as cold as it is this winter, I’ve just grown accustomed to wearing multiple layers. (Either that I’ve finally learned from my mother after all these years- she wears an average of 5 layers before she puts on her coat!) When the temperatures are really cold, my outfits have consisted of a cami, a long sleeve under armor top, a button up shirt, and a sweater or blazer above that. I’ve really been loving this grey sweater I found from Forever 21 with this cute lace detail at the bottom- it gives a soft touch of fancy as well as it being incredibly comfortable to wear on such cold winter days.
And for those who like a dose of reality: here is proof of how cold it was week:
I doubt you will see any outfit post next week as I’ve been stuck inside sick all week long- unless you want to see me in my favorite pajamas. I’m looking forward to gaining another hour of daylight this weekend- how about you?
