What I Wore Yesterday + Giveaway {Closed}

I live in upstate New York.  The weather here is incredibly moody.  This Summer, it has rained throughout the beginning, then there was a small stretch of high 90’s, and recently its been feeling like Fall.  Yup.  I said it.  Don’t get me wrong, Fall is my all time favorite season, but I just want to cling onto Summer until the last drop of it is swallowed by the crisp air and colorful leaves.  It’s still barely August!

Because of this cooky weather, I had to share with you something ironic I noticed about what I was wearing yesterday.  What cracks me up about my outfit is that I was dressed in a 3/4 length shirt, a blazer, a scarf, jeans and… flip flops? I know, I know, but I just cannot give in to wearing closed toed shoes when the calendar still says Summer.  Flip flops embody Summertime and I am stubbornly holding onto this season until September even if it’s chilly out.  So there. Take that, weather.

By the way,  I recently purchased my first Coach bag ever.  It was a big splurge for me, but I know I will have it forever, and I believe in investing in classic quality pieces that last.  I really really really like it, and I want you to have the chance to own your own, or one that you like.  Therefore, one of you lucky readers will be receiving a $50 gift to Coach! *

To be entered into this giveaway, you must either comment below about what your staple Summer fashion item is or “Like” this post on the Story Style Vision Facebook page (the link is at the top). The deadline is August 11th, 2013.

Good luck!
