In an effort to focus more on the positive things in life, I’m starting a new series called “Weekly Highlights.” It’s as simple as sharing a few things that happened during the week or past weekend that made me happy or brought a smile to my face. There have been a lot of ups and downs to home ownership and the complete remodeling of our home, but I’m learning to count my blessings, and trying not to let the bumps along the way change my attitude. Here are this week’s highlights.

This weekend I’m looking forward to Brandon’s mother and her husband coming into town, and spending Easter Sunday with both of our families. On Monday I’m starting a journey towards a new chapter in my career. I can’t wait. I’ll be sure to keep you updated. I hope you have a blessed Easter weekend!
