^ New floral summer tank I’m currently obsessed with.

This week was jam packed with so many activities. I don’t necessarily think that is a bad thing to be busy, in fact, I recently came to terms with realizing that I actually thrive on packing as much as I can in one day as possible. It makes me feel productive and accomplished to say that I did this, this, this and this in one day. Along with the basic day to day routine things, I went to two concerts this week, which both were pretty memorable. Wednesday was my nephew’s piano recital- he is only 6 years old and he’s already playing songs beyond his age level like “The Entertainer.” I was so proud of him for doing so well! Last night Brandon and I went to a show in Albany for a couple artists we recently got into. Back in the beginning of May on another ‘Weekly Highlights’ post, at the end, I shared a song I was really into by a San Francisco based band called Panic is Perfect. Well last night they were in town opening for K. Flay (which surprisingly, Brandon is the one who got me into her) and like a bunch of college kids, we stayed up til midnight on a Thursday to go to their show- which was really amazing and totally worth it! The Panic is Perfect guys mingled with the crowd afterward, and even stuck around to watch K. Flay perform.

^ The first time I bought a CD in like, 10 years.

Tonight I’m looking forward to having a dinner and fire with some close friends of ours, and over the weekend finishing up the work on our bathroom vanity (maybe starting our back splash tile in the bathroom?)

Cheers!
