Lights on the house

It’s been a really great yet uneventful week. Like most people in my area, I’m loving the unseasonably warm temperatures we’ve been having. It would be nice if we had a white Christmas, but I’m not going to complain if we don’t. This year will be our first Christmas living at our house- last year we were still living in the basement at our friend’s house. We don’t have many decorations up, but I did take some time to put up Christmas lights. (I learned from the neighbors and prior owners that the people that lived here before us used to deck out the entire house, front yard and riverfront with Christmas lights!)

I’m looking forward to having sushi take out tonight from our favorite place with my friends, and going to Brandon’s company Christmas party tomorrow evening. (I love a good excuse to get dressed up!) I hope you have a great weekend!
