Summer Highlights

^ Popping open the champagne in celebration of 1 year at our house!

This has been a really wonderful and crazy summer. So much has happened in such a short time, I can hardly believe that next week is already fall. Brandon and I slowed things down as far as working on the house and took some valuable advice from one of our neighbors and simply enjoyed our summer. Another really exciting highlight for me personally, is I’m working with some friends of ours and we found them a house, and my first listing just hit the market! Although it has its share of highs and lows, I really love working in real estate. This summer, I took a sabbatical from posting on my blog so I could refocus on coming up with a new name and direction for my website. I can’t wait to share the developments!  But in the meantime, I thought I would share some of my favorite moments of this summer with you.

Have wonderful weekend!

^ Finished our new shower wall in July- I have yet to share this post with you.

^ The perfect s’more.

^ We took a road trip in the beginning of August to visit my family in Minnesota.

^ After vacation, we came home and ripped up our downstairs sub-floor.

^ Enjoying a bottle of wine from the prior homeowners that they left for us while we were away.

^ My entire family got together for dinner! (Yup, that’s 24 people + my sister’s dog)

^ Baby snuggles.

^ Basement beam.

^ The downstairs after the floor joists were taken out.

^ Ice cream date with my sister and her kids at our local water ski show.

^ Weekend visit from Brandon’s father and step-mother.

^ They slept in their camper because there was no room in the Fromm Inn!

^ Enjoying some of the harvest from our garden.
