New Beginnings

With the new year brings new beginnings and today I want to share with you a personal story of some career developments in my life.

I’m excited to announce that since the beginning of this year, I am now working 100% for myself selling real estate full time. This was a very difficult and scary decision for me, mainly because it meant leaving my steady job with a steady paycheck in design, to work in a sales based career. This is something I had never imagined myself doing! Over the course of last year I managed to keep up with my day job, work on my personal blog (this website), renovate our house and start a database of clients who’ve hired me to help buy or sell their home. Truthfully, at first I thought I could handle it all- I say yes to everything! But as last fall began to wind down, I reached a point where I needed to make some changes.

After going over all the possibilities with Brandon, we agreed that the best decision was for me to move on from my job and pursue a full time career in real estate. One of the factors that heavily influenced my decision was that I was offered an opportunity to join the new construction team for a local builder my broker is associated with. This means I will be helping people actually build their new house, instead of just helping them choose what goes inside. I get to work with a variety of clients, help them decide the best design and floor plan for their new house, and walk beside them at each major milestone along the way.

It’s been a roller coaster of events and emotions, but pursuing real estate is one of the best decisions I could have made in 2015. I’m really excited to be on this new career path and I am looking forward to all the new possibilities ahead of me!

If you or someone you know is looking to buy or sell their home, let me know! I would love to help. For more information, please visit: MaggieFromm.com.
