Modern Audrey

I’ve been looking for this particular style and wash of jeans for the past few weeks. I searched and searched all over from J. Crew to Guess to Banana Republic and of all places, the last place I look is Old Navy and I find these jeans. Then when my husband’s grandmother sent me this shirt with Audrey Hepburn screen-printed on it, I nearly died.  It’s a suuuuper soft jersey with just the right wear to it that makes it look and feel like I’ve had it for years.  This is not an outfit I would typically wear- it’s more edgy than what I would strut in, so it slightly pushes the boundaries of my comfort level. Nonetheless, I really enjoy it.

It is still below freezing outside, and I’m looking forward to wearing my new t-shirt again without the wool blazer. Thanks again to Rosa D’Ambrosio for today’s photos!

What is something that you have tried (or would like to try) that would push your style comfort level?

oh – 70’s & 80’s and grunge and all that stuff – you can get away with it in your teens and twenties. LOL! Right now – exploring ideas from the 20’s (those coats with the oriental influence – big drapy sleeves caught at the wrist and kind of ballooney in the body – so cooool – but really – in this weather – I’m stuck in ultra conservative, or down) btw – if you fit in size 5/7 – do I have a pair of jeans for you!

What a beautiful girl! I would like to try some new look for my age but I am more for being comfortable. Your grandmother was not afraid to be comfortable, classy and in style. She was a great lady and I miss her. Love ya

P.S. When I read your posts about style and clothes, I feel like I am reading something in a foreign language! I don’t know how you keep up with the current trends. You’re pretty cool, Mags.
