Keeping It Simple

When it comes to fashion, for me, sometimes the more simple it is the better. Don’t get me wrong, I love being fancy, but there’s a time and place for that. Take this amazing striped dress for example.

Back in March, I posted an article about my new favorite striped t-shirt dress from J Crew. (I couldn’t wait until spring to wear it, so I layered up and created a cold weather look.) Although summer has come and gone, that doesn’t mean I won’t continue to wear dresses on these warmer fall days. This dress is easily in my top 5 favorites in my closet at the moment. I’ve literally been wearing this all summer. Since it’s a little more loose fitting than other dresses, it’s incredibly comfortable. I love that I can dress it up with heels, or throw it on quick if I’m running a little late. No matter what, I feel polished and professional.

By the way, this dress is still available and it’s currently on sale. Score! It also comes in navy and red which I’m seriously considering. (Not that I need another striped dress!)
