Holiday Party Dress

Party dress

Well the holiday season is officially here! I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite parts of this  season is getting dolled up and going to parties. I’ve had this little black dress stashed in my closet for the past year, and I’m really looking forward for an opportunity to wear it. I purchased it from the sale area at Forever 21 ages ago, (it’s always hit or miss for me there) but I’m really glad that I have it as a go-to for any party that may arise this season. Last year Brandon and I didn’t get to enjoy the Christmas season since everyday leading up to it we were frantically working on our house. In fact, we were putting the bathroom floor tile down on Christmas Day last year!

What attracted me to this particular dress is that it has higher neckline with more of an empire waist. The best part about this are the ruffles floating down the skirt making it super feminine. It’s really versatile in that I can throw a shawl over it for something formal, or a blazer for something a little more professional. You can never underestimate the power of Forever 21!
