Five Years of Marriage

He's still the one

Yesterday Brandon and I celebrated five years of marriage. It’s crazy for me to think that five years have already flown right past us. We’ve enjoyed some of the best times over these many years, and undoubtedly some periods of growth and stretching. For me, the best part about the past five years has been growing together. We don’t take for granted that we met early on in life, and it’s been really amazing to see how we’ve matured and changed individually since our early twenties.

Since we’ve been married, together we have traveled to several different countries, driven across the country, each of us have taken significant turns in our careers, and the most prominent accomplishment so far has been the purchase and complete renovation of our little chicken coop house.  Our marriage is far from perfect, but there is no one more perfect for me than Brandon. I can’t imagine this life without Brandon, and I am so blessed to call him my husband and best friend.

A couple weeks ago, we spent an afternoon with my friend Elizabeth who took some amazing photos of us. It was fun getting dressed up and walking around downtown together reminiscing about that day when we got married. There is no one else on the planet that I would want to spend the rest of my life with. Here are a few of my favorite moments of our photo shoot that I wanted to share with you.
