Maggie- field of stripes

Well it’s officially a new season, but something that is not new is my love of stripes. Although we’ve had an incredibly mild winter and it’s warming up again, I’m still not ready to ditch my jacket and wear open toe shoes. There are a few spring/summer clothing pieces I’ve been dying to wear but the weather just hasn’t totally cooperated yet. One of those item is this t-shirt dress I ordered weeks ago during the J. Crew 40% off sale. Surprise, surprise it has stripes, but I swear this one is different! (Keep telling yourself that, Maggie). It has a cute zipper detail in the back, and the seams in front create asymmetrical lines. Instead of stashing this back in my closet til the weather warms up, I’ve paired it with some of the warmer items I have already. I layered this dress with a plain long sleeve spandex thermal undershirt, a wool blazer, black tights, my trusted black wedge boots and this bag from Shop Bop (by Madewell) I got during the site-wide sale. (I never pay full price for anything!) Once it warms up by 30 more degrees or so, this dress will be adorable with a pair of flats or flip flops, a floppy hat, and a margarita.
