My Favorite Pair of Pants

Maggie Ryder Pants

If you are struggling to find a great quality pair of pants that look and feel amazing, then your search is over. I am obsessed with these navy blue Ryder pants from J.Crew. It’s quite a challenge for me to find a pair of pants that fits well and is comfortable enough to wear the entire day. I can’t actually take any of the credit for discovering these as they were a birthday gift to me from Brandon this past September. They have a slight stretch so they give a little when I walk around, yet they fit well on my curves without looking too tight.  The pants sit above my hips which is great because I’m self-conscious about revealing my backside when I sit or bend over. I love the description that J. Crew has about them on their site: “It’s made out of a super stretchy fabric, so it’s crazy comfortable and flattering—and will probably send your tailor into a spiral of self-doubt.” It’s so true! I have such love for these pants that I bought a second pair in “weathered spruce.”

I drew inspiration for this outfit from this Pinterest post. (I was able to dig out an old blazer I have from my stash of clothing in the garage.) What I love about this outfit is that this blazer is probably about 10 years old, and it was given to me by a friend who purchased it from Old Navy. I love how it compliments the Ryder pants without being too matchy-matchy.
