Mother’s Day is this Sunday. For those of you who love to add a personal touch to your gifts instead of run-of-the-mill flowers or store bought gifts, nothing says “I love you Mom” like a hand made gift. Here are four great (and easy) do it yourself ideas for Mom.
1). Design your own card for Mom, made with love from the heart… and a potato.
2). Do it yourself Chocolate Covered Strawberries (this is the easiest gift for you last minute folks).
3). Decorate for her a personalized flower pot with a planted flower inside.
4). Make Mom her favorite scented candle.
Of course the best gift you can give your mom is being with her on Mother’s Day spending quality time with her. Sure, gifts are nice, but remember, sad as it is, our mothers will not always be here. There is no better present than your presence. So take time to spend with your mother this Sunday.
