I bought this super cute ceramic candle almost a year ago, and only recently did I completely burn through it. I really like the color and pattern of the candle holder, so I wanted to find a practical way to reuse it, rather than tossing it out. I have been needing a place to hold my makeup brushes (up until now I’ve kept most of them in a makeup travel bag) so I figured this would be the perfect new place to store them. Pay close attention- this up-cycling DIY project is pretty complicated.
Step one: burn through a candle. Step two: clean out all the excess candle wax. (I use the highly sophisticated method of a butter knife and hot water) Step three: place makeup brushes in an orderly fashion inside candle holder. There you have the cutest, easiest (and cheapest) makeup brush holder!
