Back to Basics

A few weeks ago, right after I passed my New York State Real Estate exam, I had been meeting and interviewing with real estate companies trying to figure out which broker was the best fit for me. Each time I prepared for an appointment, I was acutely aware that first impressions are a huge part of the business. I wanted to make sure I dressed to impress, but wasn’t too over the top. I was especially nervous for my first interview, so after trying on a number of different outfit combinations, I settled on one of the classic basics: skinny black pants and flowing white blouse paring. There really isn’t anything too earth shattering about this outfit, except for the fact that I felt incredibly confident and professional walking into my interview- which was the most important factor for me. After finishing the interview, I walked out feeling like a million bucks, knowing that I am so ready to take on the real estate world, and I look the part too. By the way, it took me a while, but I finally found the perfect real estate broker to work with, and I couldn’t be happier!
