I don’t know about you, but I feel like September just came and hit me in the face out of no where. I still feel like I have so much to accomplish on my summer “to do” list. (Although at this point, I think its safe to say I’m not going to get a tan anymore) This past August was probably the worst month of this year for many reasons which I’ll spare you today, but a few good things that came from last month are my favorite beauty products.

Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer by Benefit. This is probably old news to some, but I rediscovered Boi-ing this summer. For a good solid year or more I’ve been using my MAC concealer, and have been pretty loyal to that. I remember using and loving Boi-ing in the past, so I decided to give it a go again and, surprise! I’m really loving it!

Ocean Salt by LUSH. I probably mentioned this product before, but this past August, Ocean Salt has been my friend.  It’s great at scrubbing off dead skin, and also feels so refreshing as an occasional facial scrub. Not to mention it leaves the freshest cleanest scent behind- perfect for bringing that cool summer ocean breeze to soak in your skin.

Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo. I started using this shampoo because of Elle Fowler- a beauty guru on YouTube that recommended it. This is not the type of shampoo you use every time you wash your hair. It’s meant to be used once a week to cleanse and remove any extra residue left from  products like, thickening sprays, heat protectors, hair spray, dry shampoo, etc. This is a favorite of mine because it makes my hair feel squeaky clean, especially after I’ve had a couple days worth of various products in my hair.

Tell me! What are some of your favorite beauty products from August?
